Jogging Guide

jogging guide
I had my appendix removed a month ago through Lap method.?

Would you please guide if it would be now OK to go for brisk walk, jogging, swimming, doing streching exercise & crunches.
I would appreciate any information on post-appendix precautions .
Thanks.

Generally speaking the normal waiting period for resuming normal physical activity after surgery is 6 weeks...however...we all heal differently so I feel that what's good for one person does not mean that it is good for all.......if you are feeling well no pain just start out a little at a time try brisk walking and such if no pain keep increasing your activity... as far as abdominal stretching NO NO you must let yourself heal for stretching and crunches you should not even begin these exercises for 8WEEKS.you definitely do not want to tear the incision site especially on the inside because you can't see the inside you wouldn't be aware until symptoms appear and I guarantee that you do not want to got thru surgery again best of luck and remember take it easy as far as crunches and AB workouts go...
